After extensive coaching and several years of field testing, Eugene reached a skill level high enough to qualify for marriage.

Please arrive by 3:30 PM to find your seat.
The part where we make it official.
Drinks and canapés while we take family photos.
Doors open at 5:00 PM
A seated dinner followed by a few short toasts.
Hit the dance floor with us until late.
The family and friends who have cheered us on, kept us grounded, and will be standing beside us on the big day.
Maid of Honor
Basically family since birth—met before they were old enough to understand what a best friend even meant, and somehow have been figuring it out together ever since.
Bridesmaid
Professional hype woman, lifelong bestie, and certified dance floor MVP. She’s seen every awkward phase and somehow stuck around anyway.
Bridesmaid
Mastermind of every escape room and somehow still patient enough to deal with Carly. They grew up together and never really grew apart.
Bridesmaid
The calm in every storm, the one who always seems to know exactly what to say - and who will absolutely surprise everyone on the dance floor.
Bridesmaid
The true wildcard and unofficial photographer of the group—half the time she’s in the middle of the action, and the other half she’s capturing it. If anyone goes missing at the reception, don’t worry… we’ll just follow the trail of photos and memories she’s already made.
Bridesmaid
Always the first to say yes to some Type 2 fun—Carly’s go-to adventure buddy who cheers her on and patiently waits when she inevitably falls behind on the group ride.
Bridesmaid
The kindest soul with a heart of gold, who will absolutely start crying before the ceremony even begins. Please do not make eye contact.
Bridesmaid
The voice of reason everyone trusts—and the one who thoughtfully read through the entire wedding weekend itinerary, just to make sure we’re all taken care of.
Best Man
If you need someone to agree to a wildly impractical weekend trip across the globe at a moment's notice, Mikael is your guy.
Groomsman
Always wants to party. Treats the wedding open bar less like an amenity and more like a personal endurance challenge.
Groomsman
The ultimate 'yes man.' Will agree to absolutely any terrible idea Eugene pitches before he even finishes the sentence.
Groomsman
Older brother and personal hotline for whenever Eugene works on a car and somehow ends up with three 'extra' parts that definitely belonged somewhere important.
A few details to make planning your trip to Canmore easier.
Our ceremony and reception will both take place at The Vista at Canmore Nordic Centre Provincial Park. Please see the itinerary in the Schedule section of this site.
Dress code is semi-formal. Think cocktail dresses, jumpsuits, or a dress shirt with dress pants and a jacket. Please keep the mountain setting in mind and choose footwear you’ll be comfortable in all evening.
If your invitation or e-invite includes a guest by name or mentions a plus-one, then absolutely. Otherwise, we’re keeping numbers limited and won’t be able to accommodate additional guests.
Please use the Find Your RSVP link on this website or scan the QR code on your invitation to RSVP. Please let us know whether you can join us, share your meal choices and any dietary restrictions.
We kindly ask that you RSVP by August 1, 2026 so we can confirm numbers with the venue and our caterer. Any late responses will not be accomodated.
We’ve put together a few discounted accommodation options for our guests, and you can find all the details and booking codes in the Travel section of this site. That said, please know you’re welcome to stay wherever works best for you—these options are simply offered for convenience. As lodging in the area can be limited, you may also wish to explore nearby Airbnb and VRBO rentals.
If you’re planning to park at The Vista venue, you’ll need a Kananaskis Conservation Pass (just $15 for a day pass per vehicle). Grab it online ahead of time by registering your license plate to keep things smooth — it’s required for parking in the area.
Mountain weather can be a little unpredictable, with cool evenings and the chance of changing conditions. Since our ceremony is planned to be outdoors, we suggest bringing a light layer or jacket to stay comfortable. In mid-September, Canmore’s average temperatures are around 13°C during the day and 4°C at night.
We’ve hired some very talented photographers, so we promise this moment is in good hands. Please keep phones and cameras tucked away during the ceremony, and enjoy being fully present with us. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to snap away!
